Strain Origin
Upon discovery, PESA was growing deep in the Amazon Rainforest. Researchers collected samples and brought them back to the PES lab. PES stands for Pacifica Exotica Spora, which is a spore/mycology company based out of Hawaii. PES is no longer around, unfortunately. We can thank PES for developing PES Amazonian genetics and some others you may be familiar with, such as PES Hawaiian.
Features
Dark purplish brown, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia.
